So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.<\/em>\u2014 Romans 6:11<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you struggle with pornography or masturbation, it can feel like you\u2019re not in control\u2014like something else is taking over your body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see a trigger, and before you know it, your thoughts are spinning, your body is reacting, and you feel powerless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But listen: you are not possessed. You are God\u2019s possession.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This realization changed everything for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were days when I felt trapped\u2014like I was stuck in a loop I couldn\u2019t break. But the moment I began to declare this truth out loud, something started to shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am not possessed. I am God\u2019s possession.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Say that again\u2014slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t belong to lust. You don\u2019t belong to your feelings. You don\u2019t belong to your past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You belong to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are not helpless. You are not hopeless. You are held\u2014by a Father who owns you, knows you, and fights for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the urges feel strong, speak the truth even louder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • \u201cI don\u2019t give in to sin\u2019s desires.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u201cI am not a slave to sin\u2014I am alive in Christ.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u201cI give my body to God as an instrument of righteousness.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    This is your new identity. Not based on how you feel. Not based on how many times you\u2019ve fallen. But based on what God says about you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
